WHAT A GREAT WEEKEND!!!

Two of my Good Friends and I went down to Byram, MS this weekend. Yes, a little town outside Jackson. These two sisters and their momma, put on the best Crop I've ever been to. They do it twice a year, in January and July. They always have a theme, so you can decorate your table, dress up or what ever. They give out prizes for the best dressed table. They have vendors there. (so you can spend more $$) hehe. The have side classes. They have contests for layouts, altered objects, cards. They have a silent auction. All the croppers can bring an item($8-10 bought with coupon, you can go over) wrap it up, and donate it. They then donate the money. They give to the Ronald McDonald House, and other Medical needs like the Burn Center for Children thru the Shriner's. But let me tell you, they have this Crop thing down. There were 150 people there. They have had crops with 250+. Everyone gets door prizes....everyone!!!Not just any door prize, They don't ask companies to give them stuff to giveaway. They buy the prizes at reduced prices so that everyone gets a prize! We EACH received two of Teresa Collins' kits, also her Adhesive kit,  Minds' Eye Kit, Kate and Co. kit,  four 6x6 paper pads, and a tote!! They fed us lunch and dinner Friday and Saturday with snacks in-between!! Plus these ladies are so down to earth sweet, genuinely nice people. You go away from here feeling like you have made three new friends. Plus all the new Scrappers you meet! Now the name of their organization is "Crop Connection". Some of you from this area may have already heard of them. If you ever get a chance you need to attend one of their crops. I promise you won't be sorry.   www.cropconnection.net
