Hey! I haven't been here in several days! Boy, I have been busy, learning how to use this Mac has been a little time consuming. Since my PC crashed, I have been struggling to find decent pictures to use on layouts! I usually print pictures as I need them. Most of my "old" pictures are poor quality. They are fine for some layouts but not for ones to be displayed online. Hopefully the computer guy can get my pictures off my old PC this week...fingers crossed...

The July Main Kit reveal is coming soon...July 1st

Here is the second layout I did for C'est Magnifique. I call it "Sisters". The picture is our daughter with a few of her sorority sisters when she was still in college.

 

I used items from the Main kit, the Flower Add on, Embellishment Add on, and Mixed Media Add on kit. I started by using gesso from my stash. I used it on the paper, picture, and a little on the burlap. I also used some green stain from my stash on the chipboard. The lamp post stamp from the Embellishment kit went perfect with the lamp post in the picture. The butterflies above the DZ was fussy cut from the BoBunny package in the kit.(I don't throw anything away) I really had fun playing with this kit!

First Design with C'est Magnifique Kits

Whoo Hoo! My First Layout post with C'est Magnifique Kits! Can you tell how super excited I am? I call this LO "Cherish" It is a picture of my husband and I.  This was last year celebrating 29 years of marriage!

• I used items from the Main kit, Flower add on, Embellishment add on, and Mixed Media add on kit. I  used some cheesecloth , paper doily and a paper punch from my stash. Jean Pocket Swap

We have a Scrappy Sister's group that usually does a Tag swap about every month. This month we decided to go off the rail a little and try a Jean Pocket Swap! Oh My,  they were fun! One of my Favorite Activities....

Just thought I'd share a couple of pictures from our latest "Creative Therapy Crop". We have one the 4th Saturday of every month at our local Hobby Lobby Store. Two other ladies and I take turns hosting it, Kim Barton and Bobbi Reeder. This time we had our "Memphis Scrappy Sisters" join us. We also surprised Deonna with a Birthday Party!

With some good friends' encouragement, I have finally taken the plunge! I am a Blogger! I follow several really good Blogs. Never thought I would be doing one of my own, but here I am. I will be sharing some Scrapbook Layouts, techniques, tips, and maybe throw in some altered mixed media stuff. Please be patient with me while I figure out the tech side of blogging! I'm better with paper and glue! Plus I just switched from PC to Mac this week!
