2020 was a year I'll never forget....
First there was the Covid outbreak. None of us will forget that nightmare. I'm keeping this a Political Free zone, so we won't go into that...
But personally, On October 28, 2020, I found out I had Breast Cancer. I went for my annual Mammogram at 4:00 pm and got a call at 5:00pm at home from the Radiologist. As soon as he told me who he was, I knew it wasn't good. The next day I had a repeat mammogram, Ultrasound, and a Needle Biopsy. It was confirmed. The Radiologist set me up with an appt with a Surgeon. I have really grown to like her and her Nurse. Through November, I had MRI and genetic testing. My surgeon, my husband, and I discussed it at length. We decided the plan of action, a Lumpectomy was the way to go. I had the Lumpectomy with sentinal node biopsy on Dec 3. A good friend brought me homemade soup on Dec 5. A few days later she called to tell me she tested positive for Covid. Well, a few days later I was sick and went to be tested and I had Covid. A week later, I was in the Er too sick to die. I had double pneumonia from Covid. I was admitted to the hospital and was given the Covid Protocol. I got out of the hospital two days before Christmas.
Fast forward, after I semi recovered from Covid, I started Chemo in Feb 1. After the third treatment, I ended up in the hospital with shortness of breath and low SAO2. The doctors could not agree on cause. some of them think it was from Covid, one thought it was infection, and the others think it was Chemo related. I have now finished Chemo. I'll have a Heart Ablation this Tuesday. ( due to AFib and Atrial Flutter caused by Covid) Then I'll have four weeks of radiation. After that, I'll have another ablation.
I pray after all this, life will get back to normal. We are expecting our 5th grandson in July. Also, I truthfully would like to have workshops and classes in my new sheshed My husband has been working on it in his spare time.
I want to share some pictures from the last several months!
Thank you for taking the time to read my Blog Post! I hope to see my friends and customers soon! Playing in my Sheshed of course!!
Peace, Tammy
